Send to one number or your whole contact list

Upload your contacts, write the message once and send it to a list, a group or a single number. The rate is the same on both networks.

Save the messages you send most

Keep your reminders, offers and alerts as templates. Put a name placeholder where each customer's name goes, and Ponitor fills it in for every recipient when you send.

Open a template in Compose, change what you need, and send it to a whole group. Or skip the template and type the message there.

Plan a campaign, send it when it suits you

Name the campaign, pick the contact group and your Sender ID, write the message, and choose when it goes. Send it now, set a date and time, or save it as a draft and come back to it.

  • Each contact gets their own name in the message.
  • Change or cancel a scheduled campaign any time before it sends.
  • Watch how many were sent and delivered while it goes out.

The Campaigns page in Ponitor: March Repayments is sending, with 1,406 of 2,340 delivered so far, and Independence Day Sale is scheduled for Friday.

Know what happened to every message

Each message has one of seven statuses from the network, and a failure reason when it wasn't delivered.

Download delivery logs for auditing and offline analysis, and export your monthly spend and volume.

  • QueuedAccepted by Ponitor and waiting to go to the network.Not yet
  • SentAccepted by the network; waiting for its delivery report.Billed
  • DeliveredThe network confirmed it reached the recipient's handset.Billed
  • ExpiredThe network kept retrying until the message expired: the phone was off or out of coverage.Billed
  • UndeliveredThe network reported it could not deliver the message (for example an unknown or barred number).Billed
  • UnknownNo delivery report 48 hours after sending. Networks don't report on every message, so it may well have arrived.Billed
  • FailedThe network never accepted the message. The charge goes back to your account.Not billed

How you get a Short Code

A Short Code lets customers text you back. Four steps, and we handle the regulator's paperwork for you.

  1. Step 1

    You request it

    Pick the code and say what it is for.

  2. Step 2

    We review it

    Once we approve it, we submit it to the Liberia Telecommunications Authority (LTA) for authorization.

  3. Step 3

    The LTA authorizes it

    The LTA reviews the code and issues its authorization.

  4. Step 4

    It goes live

    We set it up on Orange and MTN, and your customers can use it.

Send from your own system

Send a reminder, a receipt or a one-time code when something happens in your app. One request per message, with your own reference so the same message never goes out twice.
